Acer's Android tablets with quad-core processors leaked

Posted on: November 17, 2011

After we've seen the first Android tablet with a powerful quad-core processor inside, apparently Acer is also working on a few devices that will integrate Nvidia Tegra 3.

Acer A510 hasn't been officially announced by the company but there's a pair of User Agent Profile specifications posted on their website that match with Transformer Prime's specs: a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1280 x 800 resolution and Android OS.

It will also be equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi, while 3G model will be known as Acer A511. Infos about a possible launch date or exact dimensions remain unkown.

Acer Iconia Tab A701 and A700 are another two upcoming powerful tablets recently spotted by an italian blog. The thing about these two slates isn't their quad-core processor, but an unheard and high resolution of the screen: 1920 x 1200 pixels.

We assume that the image quality will be absolutely impressive to a 1080p Full HD, but we are waiting for more details.
