Archos announced in an official press release the availability of its first Android Honeycomb tablet, the 70b, which will hit the market next year in January for an affordable price tag: $199. Most probable, the company's first Honeycomb-based slate will be unveiled next year at CES.

The new ARCHOS 70b IT will be a light tablet with a 1024x600 capacitive touchscreen, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi, HDMI output and microSD card slot. It will be running Android 3.2 Honeycomb with access to a full array of paas with the Android Market.

The ARCHOS 70b will be available in stores starting in January for a retail price of $199.

Philadelphia Media Network is the first US publisher to offer substantial subscriptions discounts along with the Archos Arnova 10 G2 tablet. The American publisher in partnership with Arnova will offer the Android-based tablet for a special price set at $99.

It was only in June that Archos revealed its two newcomers to the Honeycomb tablet frenzy: the 8-inch and 10-inch G9 slates. Now we have some official prices to go with them, as the smaller version will retail for $299.99, while the 10-inch model will go for $369.99.

Archos sure doesn't waste any time when it comes to releasing new tablets. It has just announced that it is broadening its tablet range with two more models: the 80 G9 and 101 G9 slates. As you probably guessed, one of them has an 8-inch screen, while the other comes with a 10.1-inch display, but their specs are practically the same.

Have you been waiting to get your hands on a decent 7-inch tablet which is also reasonably priced? You may now have that chance, because Archos has recently unveiled its newest addition to the tablet market: the Arnova 7-inch slate, priced at only $99. Yes, the price is right, but don't expect to get all the goodies you would from a more expensive tablet.

Archos never ceases to surprise us, as it's bringing out yet another Android tablet, in addition to the many slates it already has on the market. This new slate is called the Archos 7c Home Tablet and it will be coming this June in Europe and the US.

French manufacturer Archos already has quite a few tablets available, but it's not stopping here. It plans to release a new, more powerful line of slates in June of this year, known for now as the Gen 9 tablets. The new devices will come installed with the Honeycomb version of Android and they will be "thinner, lighter and stronger".

The portable device features a 10.1-inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal memory, and it's running Android Eclair.

French manufacturer Archos has a wide range of cheaper tablets already available, but now it will release two more models, which will be even more affordable. These two slates are called the Arnova 8 and 10, and they feature, as you probably guessed, 8- and 10-inch screens, unfortunately we're talking about resistive touchscreens for now.
