With similar internal tech specs like the Transformer Prime, the Transformer Pad 300 doesn't get the brushed aluminium coating, but a durable plastic shell. Asus Transformer Pad 300 can be pre-ordered via Amazon US for $499.99.

The online retailer has a blue color option available for those interested about this Android-powered tablet. Spotted one day ago for a price under $500 and a release date for April 22th, Amazon has meantime changed that priced.

Offering customers two in one product with a detachable keyboard dock that transforms the tablet into a mini laptop, the Transformer Pad 300 is considered to be a high-end tablet that sports Android 4.0 ICS and a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1GB RAM.
