Remember the Dell Streak 10 Pro which was rumored to launch soon, possibly this month, on AT&T? It looks like US customers will have to wait a little longer, since the company has decided to launch the slate in China first. The tablet will eventually be released in the States, but it looks like that will happen in 2012.

The reason for this is that the US market is not ready for another Android tablet, and that the US doesn't represent a viable market for Dell right now. Dell also suggested that another reason for its postponed launch in the US is that carriers dictate prices for tablets, which makes it difficult for customers to know "what exactly Android is bringing to the table".

For now, it seems that in the US, Android tablets have not been very well received, compared to the iPad, which may mean that the States are not exactly embracing the whole Android experience, at least that's what it looks like according to Dell. The Honeycomb 10-inch slate will launch in China this summer, and it's expected to hit US stores some time next year, if all goes well.
