Sony S1 and S2 briefly spotted in MunichPosted on: July 1, 2011
The two upcoming Sony tablets, the S1 and the S2, were spotted at an event held in Munich. Although the S1 tablet can only be seen in the picture below, the S2 model was actually seen running and you can watch the brief 18-second video in the source link.
The guys over at German site Golem.de, who got a chance to play with the tablets, said that the S1 9.4-inch slate can be held with either the thicker or the thinner side down, however you prefer, but it seemed more comfortable to he held by the thicker side while playing games.
The S2, on the other hand, which features two split 5.5-inch screens looked more like a Nintendo DS console and even resembles a glasses case, when it's closed. One thing is certain though, both tablets are Playstation Certified and for good reason. We're definitely looking forward to seeing these tablets finally hit stores in the near future.
