Less than one week left until CES event opens its doors and we get to see Android tablets making its appearance. Velocity Micro may not be as popular and known as Samsung, but the company is ready to jump into the competition with two upcoming Android tablets.

Velocity Micro will introduce a 9.7-inch tablet with a designed inspired by Apple's iPad with specs as: a Cortex A8 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, ARM graphics, HDMI out, 8 GB of built-in memory plus a front facing camera.

The second one is a smaller 7-inch tablet called Cruz T507 that features the same internals as the first tablet. Both slates will run Android 4.0 but there won't be access to Android Market, using Amazon’s Appstore.
